Motel Hamilton

Driving down Barton Village in Hamilton, is a lot like travelling through time. The area is akin to Markham, Richmond Hill or Mississauga circa 1990. In just five short miles, remnants of Hamilton’s beautiful and old world charm shine through, craving a renovation, holding out for a revival.

While the list of restaurants continues to expand in Barton village, I feel lucky to have been invited to shoot the interior of one standout venue in particular.

’Motel’ is the newest addition to the up and coming neighbourhood. Serving Brunch and Lunch, in an chic diner, reminiscent of the Palm Springs Art Deco era. Motel offers a variety of brunch options, all worth a try. One items on the menu that stood out to me was the champagne pancakes topped with gold flakes and served with a crème brûlée grapefruit.

If you're looking for not just brunch, but an experience, I recommend checking out Motel, you won't be disappointed.
