Boxing Day Shopping Guide
The holidays can be a crazy time of the year. Between all of the events, finding the perfect decorations, and Christmas shopping (don’t even get me started on mall parking) it can be a stressful time. A lot of times we have good intentions to start shopping in November but find ourselves scrambling at the last minute days before Christmas.
So what ends up being our go to gift? Gift cards/cash. What do you do with all of this cash, where do you go to spend it? I’ve decided to make a little blog post to help inspire your boxing week purchases!
Traveler:
Whether you travel frequently or once in a blue moon, no trip is complete without luggage from Away. I tend to travel a lot between work and pleasure and have used many different types of luggage but never found the right fit until I tried “The Carry-On” from Away. Available in 10 different colours is the perfect travel companion. It’s thoughtfully designed to be unbreakable with its polycarbonate shell, and interior compression system. Its TSA approved and even offers an ejectable battery to charge your devices no the go (Literally fell in love with the product when I heard of this feature the first time) The battery is 37 watts allowing you to charge your device up to 5 times!
During the holidays, Away brough back The Mini which is a polycarbonate toiletry kit. You have an option to purchase just the hard-shell case on it’s own, or filled with products which makes the perfect holiday gift. Its currently not available BUT so many of you asked me about it through stories, I thought I would let you know what it was( great gift idea for next year!)

Fragrance:
Ever since I was a teen, I’ve always loved purchasing new fragrances. I tend to change my scent seasonally. One of my current must haves is Y from Yves Saint Laurent. It’s a seductive interpretation on the iconic Yves Saint Laurent white T-shirt and black jacket. It contains sophisticated notes of bergamot, ginger sage and apple.
Gamer:
The Nintendo switch was such a hot commodity this year. The devices where completely sold out at most gaming stores as well as most of the popular games. While browsing the video game store on Boxing Day I noticed a lot of people looking at Nintendo Labo. Nintendo Labo is a gaming and construction toy platform developed by Nintendo and used as an extension for the switch video game console. The platform uses kits that include cardboard cut-outs and other materials that are to be assembled in combination with eh switch console display and joy-con controllers to create “Toy-Con” that can interact with game software. It teaches principles of engineering, physics, and basic programming. (Not to mention its fun)

Knowledgeable:
For those who want to find out more about their genetics or family tree, the AncestryDNA kit is the perfect way to receive a detailed breakdown and see exactly where they come from. I bought this and was so excited to find out where I’m from and the capability to trace my ancestors journey over 100s of years. For boxing week you can purchase the package for only $79 instead of the usual price of $129.
